JAICY
Jaicy, like her counterparts in her neighborhood, was not fortunate enough to be brought up in the comforts of a happy family setting. Instead, she had to spend her entire childhood in the company of children from the broken families and orphan children. After realizing the hardships of Jaicy's mother in upbringing her three daughters, an orphanage nearby extended their support, and Jaicy was admitted to that orphanage at the age of five. In the year 2008, Jaicy completed her higher secondary education with high marks and she is worried about her family problems and the worsening health of her mother.
She had a normal childhood like any of her peers. But the events overturned all of a sudden. Clouds of unrest entered into the peaceful horizon of the family with the birth of her youngest sister. Her father, who was very eager to have a male child in the family, became very disappointed after the third child also being a girl. His discontentment paved way for regular family feuds and ultimately, he abandoned the family for ever. There started the saga of unending struggle for a helpless mother and three girl children. But, Jaicy's mother was not ready to give up. She started to work as a daily laborer to find a living for the family. She was destined to give good education to her children and to make them self reliant. Today, Jaicy is pursuing her Diploma Course in Nursing in Delhi with support from some kind hearted people, and the youngest one is in class 10 th.

But Jaicy is standing in a difficult juncture of life today. After the completion of her 12 th, she wants to join a professional course so that she can extend a helping hand to her ailing mother and to her sisters. She finds nursing profession as the most suitable one due to its low fees and better job prospects. She is keen to pursue the General nursing course. But the fee of this course is also not affordable to her family. So the family can only hope see some helping hands coming from some philanthropists which will help Jaicy in her struggle for self-reliance. She earnestly prays for that help to come from some corners of the world.

MANJU
Manju's family decided to migrate to Delhi some eighteen years ago with bigger ambitions about a changed fortune of the family. In a marginalized village in UP, her father found it very difficult to meet the two ends of life by engaging himself as an agriculture laborer. So, Delhi was like a dream destination for him to earn a decent income and to redeem his family from the clutches of poverty. But, at the fag end of his journey, today he is a shattered man as Delhi couldn't fulfill any of his dreams. In spite of the long years he spent in this metropolis, his life has ended up as a constant struggle to meet the needs of a family of six members with a meagre income of Rs. 2000/- he earns as a factory worker.
Manju is the eldest daughter of the family. She has two sisters and one brother; all are studying in different classes in the nearby government school. Manju had completed her higher secondary education with good marks in 2007. Then she enrolled for graduation from Delhi University under private registration. Being the elder daughter of the family, she was always concerned about the worsening economic conditions of the family. She always wanted to extend a helping hand to her sick father. She didn't mind to engage herself as a domestic help. For the last two years, she has been working as a domestic worker in a house in Rohini. Though small, but the income she earns is a big support to her family.

Manju is convinced of the fact that her effort is not able to bring a lasting solution to the miseries of her family. Along with her parents, now Manju also dreams of educating her siblings and enabling them to stand on their own. They all understand that good quality education only can relieve them from their present day difficult situations. Manju knows that a girl of her kind can excel in the field of Nursing, and this is one of the few options available before her to redeem her family. Being the member of a lower caste also enhances her chances to get into the government sector after the completion of the course. But, even dreaming of all these are beyond the reach of this family. The family is looking forward to some benevolent hearts to come forward to support Manju in this endeavor. This support can change the destiny of a family of six people for ever.

RINCY
Rincy, like her counterparts in her neighborhood, was not fortunate enough to have an upbringing in the comforts of a happy family setting. Instead, she had to spend her entire childhood in the company of children from the broken families and orphan children. After realizing the hardships of Rincy's mother in bringing up her three daughters, an orphanage nearby had agreed to support Rincy. Hence she was admitted to that orphanage at the age of four. By God's grace, she got an Amma from Germany. She always prays for her and, when- ever she gets a chance to talk about her, she will not forget to share about her Amma (sponsor) who helped her to complete 12th class. She was a meticulous student throughout her education, and in the year 2009, she completed her higher secondary education with high grades.
Rincy, as a child, had everything in her life. But the events overturned all of a sudden. Clouds of unrest entered into the peaceful horizon of her family with the birth of her youngest sister. Her father, who was very eager to have a male child in the family, became very disappointed after the seeing that the third child also a female. His discontentment paved way for regular family feuds, and ultimately, he abandoned the family for ever. There started the saga of unending struggle for a helpless mother and three girl children. But Rincy's mother was not ready to give up, and she decided to live for her children. She started to work as a daily laborer to find a living for the family. She was destined to give good education to her children and to make them self-reliant. That perseverance of a committed mother has led her daughters towards self-reliance. Today, the elder sister of Rincy is pursuing her Diploma Course in Nursing in Delhi with support from some kind hearted people, and the youngest one is studying in class 10th .

But the journey of the family has reached a very critical juncture today. After the completion of her 12th, Rincy wanted to join a professional course so that she can extend a helping hand to her ailing mother, and also to her sisters. She finds nursing profession as the most suitable one due to its low fees and better job prospects. Because of her academic excellence, she is keen to pursue B.Sc nursing course. But this dream of this bright girl is beyond the reach of her family. They can only hope to have some miracle happen in their lives in the form of some philanthropists come forward and help Rincy. The whole family earnestly prays for that help to come from some corners of the world.

SONU
Sonu is a bright boy living in a tiny house in the shabby lanes of Prem Nagar Colony – a disadvantaged location in North-West Delhi. He has just completed his Higher Secondary Examination with flying colors from a nearby government school. Like his friends, Sonu also would like to pursue higher education and, becoming a Chartered Accountant is his ambition in life. But the compulsions of life have made him to forget this long-cherished dream for the sake of a pragmatic approach in life.
His family hailed from Bihar and had migrated to Delhi some fifteen years ago to find a better living for the family. His father found an employment with a roadside eatery on a meagre income. Today he is affected with skin diseases and is not able to work. For the last one year, the family has been supported by Sonu's elder sister who is working as a computer operator in a nearby private firm. The family is finding it very difficult to meet the two ends with the small income of the girl. There is one more girl in the family. She studies in the high school nearby.
Sonu knows that he has larger responsibilities in life to perform. The entire family is spinning hopes on him. He alone has to see the means for the treatment of his father, and for the marriages of his sisters. So, at this corss road of his life, he was compelled to think of a professional who will enable him to do all these within a minimum possible time. Hence he has chosen nursing profession which can provide him a decent earning after a training of three years. Though he has chosen his career, he is clueless about the finances required for it. It can only be fulfilled if some kindhearted people come forward to provide a helping hand. The whole family is earnestly praying for that miracle to happen. A miracle which has the power to redeem all of them.
