EDUCATION

A quarter of a million of Delhi's children living in slums or on the streets do not go to schools.

OCT believes that every child has a right for education and development in the fullest. So the trust strives hard to provide education to children who are deprived of it due to unavoidable circumstances.

OUR STRATEGY

          1. Identification of non school going and dropped out children from the target locations

          2. Motivating children and their parents to pursue education programme which will enable them to look beyond their present day life of miseries.

          3. Provide opportunities for quality education, health check ups and latent talent development to the children through the non formal education centres.

          4. Mainstream the children from the non formal education centres with government schools.

          5. For retention of the mainstreamed children, provide quality education through the remedial education centres.

          6. Through recreational means, develop the children's physical and mental abilities.
